Strengthen partnerships in advancing child rights and protection initiatives targeting orphaned, vulnerable children and adolescents, re-integrating them into families, and organized homes as well as supporting them with income-generating projects for self-sustainability

Program Design and Set-Up

We conduct community-based needs assessments; Develop MEAL and resource mobilization strategies; Engage key stakeholders through partnership meetings

Program Coordination and Strategic Planning

Recruit core program staff; Organize bi-annual program review meetings; Develop a comprehensive 5-Year Strategic Plan

Community Mobilization and Capacity Building

Empower parents, local councils, religious and cultural leaders to respond to children’s needs; Conduct behavior change programs for out-of-school youth

Policy Advocacy and Legal Engagement

Engage policymakers to eliminate barriers to children and youth participation; Support multi-stakeholder advocacy forums; Strengthen the capacity of 100 local partners in youth and child development; Participate in national-level legal and policy reviews

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)

Conduct program baselines, quarterly monitoring, and evaluations; Implement collaborative learning and adaptation (CLA) activities

Communication and Public Awareness

Develop a functional and updated organization website; Design and disseminate IEC materials (brochures, posters, videos, etc.); Run media campaigns including radio, TV, print, and social media to raise awareness on children’s rights and youth empowerment

Psychosocial Support and Referrals

Provide guidance and counseling to children and youth facing emotional distress; Establish referral networks with police, health centers, schools, and legal aid providers

Youth and Child Participation

Establish 40 safe spaces and child rights clubs in and out of schools; Promote children and youth participation through community outreach and wellbeing campaigns
